When you start Fallout 3 try to get as high karma possible because (this is a spoiler) when you get farther there is a super strong body guard named Fawkes who is super strong (as I said). You need lot's of good karma to get him as a follower and he will help a LOT if you come across a deathclaw or giant radioscorpion. He is a super mutant and he is found in vault 87. When you get him then you can go on rampages and raid Megaton with no problem and be evil with Fawkes. If you fire him, and recruit him again, he won't accept because you will have low karma.
